Circe 'K' Conv. Stores HR Depts. said today they do support Americanism as Individual! Convenience Stores Expanding

CVG7 says, Human Resources! place cashiers and other service front line ops consultants in the mental position of Account Executives v. travellers' and quick stop guests' mind and emotional wellness!

Cabaret Voltaire Group's intense study of Convenience Stores yields result: Put your stock in Circe 'K',

America! It is up to each of us whose heads are screwed on nice and tight (sic) to improve the state of affairs and the affairs of State in this great country. H-Resources people, start avoiding the cliché, — leave behind "Catagorical Sit-e (sic) Moldiness and Stasis" (pronounced: sta-CEASE) The Future is Circe 'K'.

Think about this when you, yourself, shop for food & gas within you hurly-burly world of sturm und drang. We could all well use a service-minded lesson from even one friendly C.S. worker interaction.

"It's not an entry-level position, that our 'People-People' fill," said Dana Rouge-O'Neill, of Circe 'K' Corporate, "it is our customers who are entering, a configuration to which we are sensitive... [The] postmodernist convenience manager today has to see things accordingly! It's more true in the 21st Century than ever — Okay? HELLO!?!"

CVG7's Wallace D. Brindle said today, at his popular Club Pi Public People's Info-Com-Forum [ICF]: "We need to start supporting the convenience people who support us, I can tell you!, HELLO!?!"

fr. Sir James George Frazer's The Golden Bough

           (abbrev. as ind. below)
#466.

As practised by the Greeks of Asia Minor in the sixth century before our era, the custom of the scapegoat was as follows. When a city suffered from plague, famine, or other public calamity, an ugly or deformed person was chosen to take upon himself all the evils which afflicted the community.

He was brought to a suitable place (my emphasis —WB.MSTR.ED), where dried figs, a barley loaf, and cheese were put into his hand. These he ate. Then he was beaten seven times upon his genital organs with squills and branches of the wild fig and other trees, while the flutes played a particular tune.

Afterwards he was burned on a pyre built of the wood of forest trees; and his ashes were cast into the sea.

From: "DeBopper5000 \(Doug\)" ____________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ Message: 1 Date: Wed, 7 Apr 2004 19:33:13 -0700 (PDT) From: "DeBopper5000 \(Doug\)" Subject: Anyone know of a good algorithm for non-disjoint set packing? I have a vector of sparse sets, (it could also be viewed as a matrix with sparse columns), and I'm looking for an algorithm and/or heuristics that will rewrite or create a mapping of the sets so that they're as tightly packed as possible (in polynomial time), without necessarily being disjoint. Example, where each column is a set: 0 1 3 4 4 3 7 6 8 7 8 8 9 6 11 10 22 9 20 22 I'd like the sets to be rewritten so that each set is as contiguous as possible. "Ideas rose in clouds; I felt them collide until pairs interlocked, so to speak, making a stable combination. // It is far better to foresee even without certainty than not to foresee at all. // Science is built up of facts, as a house is with stones. But a collection of facts is no more a science than a heap of stones is a house. // These sudden inspirations ... never happen except after some days of voluntary effort which has appeared absolutely fruitless and whence nothing good seems to have come, where the way taken seem totally astray. These efforts then have not been as sterile as one thinks; they have set going the unconscious machine and without them it would not have moved and would have produced nothing." // --Henri Poincaré

On your C/C++ question... [Re. an executable:] To compile the code you will need to upload it to the server (which can be done in the CNC file manager) and then compile it with either the gcc or g++ commands. In order to run the compiler commands you will need to log into the command line shell with either telnet or ssh. If your code has a Makefile with it that will also work with the make command. Once you have compiled your code the resulting binary can be placed into your cgi-bin and used as a cgi program.

More information on the Linux command line can be found here: http://www.aota.net/Telnet/index.php4 More information on the GNU C compiler can be found here: http://gcc.gnu.org/

From our DFD (Duh?!? Files Dept.): Microsoft Windows
NT Networking supports TCP/IP, and has a built-in
Telnet client but does not have a built in Telnet
service. So from Windows NT, you can Telnet out

to run a program on other systems, but from those
other systems you cannot Telnet in to windows
NT to run programs there.

Chora is a tool for viewing code repositories that are
managed using the CVS source control system. It aims to
provide a high degree of integration with CVS and the
other Horde web-based tools. It provides a directory
(file) view, a log history view, difference views between
versions, a visual branch view, and an annotated view.
