Imus's expression was clearly facetious; he was speaking in quotes — anyone with a clear, crack-free head who is not addicted to affirmative action or carni-(Lib) tent con will hear that on the recording. But do know this in any case, addicts and saboteurs and other unfriendly firing folks, the passive aggression is going to stop. There extends a continuous line along the scalar of belligerence that moves from passive aggression all the way to the carefully not found worthy, valid or fit-to-print news of black / feminist / gay / illegal immigrants / ex-convicts' party subterfuge. (Etc. i.e., —if your herd supplies the correct mass of block vote and if your block blocks the American process, is anti-democratic republic, and your groupthinkers can be herded by the Lib. regime, then you’re in). This is the terrorism wilding in "Big-Diversity" social and health Gov. or Gov-paid (!) services -- organized, "solidarity"-informed sabotage and public record smear-loaded terrorism; and activism aligned with a favorite 5th columnist topic of diminishment and diffusion: the 72-virgin directed Islamic bomb-flavored terrorism. Is it any wonder that the Libs' pre-castration, pre-disarming made to order virus comprised of "male anger and guns" is found so conveniently terrible and wrong-minded by the recipients of pregnant special-information, these true believers and engineers of enlightenment? This was one of architect Hitler's first moves: disarm the people; get rid of resistance, including anger and any reactive aberrations — such as the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. —W. Darwen Brindle (04/27/2007)

Much cared-for afflicted visitor (by me, that's whom: your 'Gloo Admin and/or [or or/and] ELIZA [N.B.: each link to text entry 'ELIZA' is different]), save yourself a whole lot of time and money! and maybe yourself, altogether in the bargain... seeing 'ELIZA' rather than a (modern Lib. pose [sleeper-cell?] set-up) Mental Hygiene Clinic "therapist". Interested? See above, and below:

—> ELIZA is a computer program developed by Joseph Weizenbaum of M.I.T. in 1966 to demonstrate that it is easy to make computers seem intelligent. (Almost as easy as it is to make "therapists" with a hidden political control habit seem intelligent. Please be referred to Michel Foucault's oeuvre.)

ELIZA, (which passes the Turing Test, q.v.) carries on a conversation in the style of a psychotherapist, but it actually responds only to certain patterns of words in the output, ignoring the rest. For example, if the user mentions "mother," ELIZA might reply, "Tell me more about your mother."

A version of ELIZA is built into the Emacs editor of a Linux shell or the Linux operating system (they're both available free, but this constitutes an 'RTFM' situation; not a ~sensitive~ intuitive Lib. deal... [Don't be afraid, though; remember, ("Give a man a fish / teach a man to fish." and here again, 'man' is definitely not gender-specific, as it never has been in any such context as the example. Oh, except by OCD Sufferer - Helpers, paranoiacs, or sometimes sweet cutesy power mongers looking for the convenient hook of perfidy.) —admin] The above text, "sans comments" is selected from the very excellent Barron's Dictionary of Computer and Internet Terms, Downing - Covington - Covington - Covington, 9th Ed., Hauppauge, New York, 2006

Note: in Linux-emacs-speak "C-somekey" means hold the Ctrl key down while you press that key; and "M-somekey" indicates you should hold the Esc key down while you press that key. "When you are frustrated, try the famous Eliza program. Just do M-x (then type) doctor. End each input by pressing RET twice." (i.e.: —the return key twice, *well; hey, come on now, single-sided mere geek, give them some space, Mahn...[!] Catch your own wave, Water-Hog-DOUde...)" Special admin note #29: "When you are feeling strange, type M-x [then type and enter] yow."

How the Red Bird Got His Color (retold by Barbara Shining Woman Warren)

  Cherokee Words:

    wolf: wa ya
    raccoon: gv li
    bird: tsi s qua
    brown: u wo di ge
    red: gi ga ge
    red bird: to tsu wa

Gv li loved to tease wa ya. One day gv li teased wa ya so much that wa ya became very angry. Wa ya began to chase gv li through the woods. Gv li, being the clever animal that he is, kept ahead of wa ya.

Gv li came to a river. Instead of jumping in the river, he quickly climbed a tall tree and peered over a branch to see what wa ya [more at: Wa lly —Ed.] would do next.

{Yes, we are working on the word-glyphs' gackground color and size; —see...before [I hope, 'before'] the Google smart ads you really want to click on down there at lower left by the Vocab. and super-important news section (want to because you are kewl & kurious) kept on presenting all you fine visitors and honored guests with "f o i l e f" (I did not have time on this fine public terminal to make a glyph there, heehee the 'f' is a 't' [*cunning maniacal laughter*]) - training ads... We're on that!}

The first thing we need to do is put all the back outside. Then we use that freed-up as the television room — so the people gross enough to have been using that (virtual —and two-way yet! [ugxh-yuck-hurRrLL! —both ends connect right through to each other! {think about it}]) right out in the family room can be locked into their new little space (remotes no longer lost — obsoleted) and left there until nothing's lighting-up but a test pattern. Progressively higher (compare and contrast this term with 'lower') learning standards would stand ready, once again, to proceed within the developmental mode with which we began; i.e. before Janus-configured broadcast toilet-tech comported with human education and civilization generally.   Nota Bene: 'Ebonics, ~affirmative~ action (plz. see: bigotry & skin color over content of character, sound familiar?), crime rapp [sneaker / weaponry & drug-hiding zoot-suit pants w/ no-ID-ready hoodie] lifestyle crapp [what is this black separatist pose for? Remember integration?], & double (or triple) educational standards ...they do not fill the bill; these things only kill, ladies & gentlemen & co-optionist block vote* allure -artists: you stridently ungraceful and unbalanced (not infrequently, well within certain power-base cities, they sabotage and snipe from the high brush of human, health sciences-related, and social services!) 5th columnists trying to dance on two left coasts. Fr. our "Big Diversity's Demands Dept." (Sub. Dept.: "Horribly low educational levels in major Big 'D' cities are okay -- they add nicely to the beautiful mix!" —See-'M-Sane?): "[...] Camus' ... belief that man's condition is absurd identified him with the existentialists, but he denied allegiance to that group; his works express rather a courageous humanism." — And that's wonderful, sagacious, crucial, but when do all the humans (rather) begin participation, with courage or not, in that noble 'ism'? --admin

"We do not do what we want and yet we are responsible for what we are -- that is the fact. / Man can will nothing unless he has first understood that he must count on no one but himself; that he is alone, abandoned on earth in the midst of his infinite responsibilities, without help, with no other aim than the one he sets himself, with no other destiny than the one he forges for himself on this earth. / Never have I thought that I was the happy possessor of a "talent"; my sole concern has been to save myself by work and faith." —J.P.Sartre

The beginning of culture and of the struggle to pass out of the unbroken immediacy of naive psychical life has always to be made by acquiring knowledge of universal principles and points of view, by striving, in the first instance, to work up simply to the thought of the subject-matter in general, not forgetting at the same time to give reasons for supporting it or refuting it, to apprehend the concrete riches and fullness contained in its various determinate qualities, and to know how to furnish a coherent, orderly account of it and a responsible judgment upon it. This beginning of mental cultivation will, however, very soon make way for the earnestness of actual life in all its fullness, which leads to a living experience of the subject-matter itself; and when, in addition, conceptual thought strenuously penetrates to the very depths of its meaning, such knowledge and style of judgment will keep their due place in everyday thought and conversation.     From the Hegel related location linked here.
Schopenhauer's system integrates elements of Kant, Plato, and Eastern religious asceticism. Very briefly, he thinks garden-variety perceptual objects are illusory appearances that mask a deeper, underlying reality (the thing-in-itself) that he seems to identify with Will. He thinks humans can intuitively comprehend this Will via insight into their own wills. When manifest in appearances, the Will becomes an endless, fruitless struggle for satisfaction and survival, but Schopenhauer thinks it is a single Whole (all individual wills and all phenomena are merely its instantiations). Because the Will is purposeless striving, and is even 'evil' in that it binds humans to an endless wheel of desire, he thinks salvation requires turning away from the Will entirely through asceticism.     From the informative Schopenhauer site linked here.

We live in a nation so drenched in white guilt that one of these professors actually escaped a jail sentence by arguing that the witnesses to her crime were not credible as they were white and people of that persuasion are genetically incapable of telling one black person from another."     Click to our links - NEWS: 'WHITE GUILT'

If you gape like an intellectual pierced and violated by his own ivory tower, wildly aghast at what regards you from blood-filled eyes upturned, if the current worse than chaotic, let's simply say far beyond the standard insane, strange terrors in the world and within the nearest 100 meters from where you live diffuse your personal problems through higher than imaginable horrors, you had been warned, you had been given a map out from William S. Burroughs, C.G. Jung, and Sir James Fraser. They had been thoughtfully and diligently, yes, caringly shouting the coordinates to us like foghorns for decades, and explaining why shoals were all about us and what we could expect on the rocks. A question then, rather patently a fair one: why was it that (mostly it was) you refused to accept our best friends as serious and sober messengers long ago? That, in itself, has made things even worse. And "even worse" on top of "even worse" eventually piles up, yes? Look around you at what we are in. Is this not Interzone, Naked Lunch, and Nova Express ?
Your thoughts? —if you are no longer able to entertain any...then, your dreams? And en passant...nope...it's not the Republican nor is it the Democratic Party — it's us. / "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." (—Gandhi) See also the literature of Shirley Jackson, Franz Kafka, George Orwell, Camus, Louis-Ferdinand Céline, and Carson McCullers. Of quite new and very special interest to you, those among the stumbling, trembling hoards who can still focus upon a text for more than a commercial "break", is William T. Vollmann's 7 Vol. moral calculus and review of this theme (this dark hole of swift arrows out of Thucydides' The Peloponnesian War, written to you direct from 431 BCE, his worst descriptions out of which we can now mirror.) Vollmann uses his own methodical approach in Rising Up and Rising Down. A must see...if you can find the time...irony probably lost. Some few others there are yet to confer about, you say? Then "you tell me". (—Gilbert Gottfried) But, pardon us, is there a moment for conferences now? Duncan's Donuts or Star Buck$, anyone? —W. Darwen Brindle (07/11/2006)
